Yep.. pain... I've run out of $.39 stamps & the extra oz. $.24...But the local Post Office only has the new $.41 stamp...

Forever stamp
I believe you can still buy the new "forever" stamp at $.39 until Monday and they are good FOREVER, (as long as you have them), no matter what the price rises to. I mail very little so 100 of these will last me FOREVER.

Actually, the Forever Stamp is available only at the new .41. The 2nd oz. postage went down .05. Cool, huh?

been paying online for years...not only is it faster, saves time, but you have PROOF via the electronic trail that the bill was paid on time

yep...and lucky me! I had my choice, ..............$.39 stamp, $.41 stamp, or the Forever stamp @ $.39.....it was a no brainer
