After entering the Pearly Gates, St Peter welcomed Farrah Fawcett and told her she could have one wish granted for her long suffering. Without hesitation she wished that all the children in the world would be safe!
Back on earth at that very moment Michael Jackson dropped dead.
Then, when Michael approached the Pearly Gates, St. Peter asked him what he wanted. Michael said he needed someone to make a pitch for him to God.
Poor Billy Mays never knew what hit him...

What a relief...here we all were, chatting about celebrity deaths at the Pearly Gates, and suddenly I have only 126 to go?!

For whatever reason this brought that Jim Carrey line to mind from "Dumb & Dumber" as he was leaving the bar after he found out he had his date for 8 pm confused thinking it was for 8 am.

As he was leaving he read some old newspaper article that was framed and said "We landed on the moon"??? I think it was actually a clever (or shameless) promo for his upcoming movie, "Man on the Moon", the Andy Kaufman story.

The venue's website was visited over 500 million times within the first hour of opening registration for Michael Jackson's memorial!!!!

Out of those 500 million, only 17,500 fans will be awarded a ticket for the memorial service through a lottery.

no doubt he had talent. The time between mega hits and the weirdness and the trial (convicted or not) of child molestation makes me really question him, sorry can't let little kids be hurt by people they trust

I haven't been following the news lately but I'm sure we'll be hearing stories from those kids anytime after the memorial service.
