I must have been walking around the house. Nothing out of place though. No piles of stuff fell over. Must be a restricted shaker. Can't get out of Santa Monica.

I've lived in snow (northeast) and I've lived in earthquake country(So Cal). Even with hurricanes, heat and humidity I'll take Texas anyday. I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could.
Shhhhhh its about population control in California
I live in Hemet & we get these al the time. Monday I felt a little one @ about 3:05 p.m., it was never on the news. My wife never felt it eather.I live on solid rock , you would not beleave the difference from liveing on fill dirt, to living on rock. You hardly feel them.
Raider Keith; I'd rather live here than in tornado land. You see you don't have time to get scared, like with a tornado you watch it & hope it goes around you . It's got a lot to say about a place when the best time of the year is tornado time.Like (IOWA) for an example.

I agree with you Raider. I went through Ivan while it sat on us all night long. Wind never gives up.
