So what has everybody done today? I've got my wife x-mas shopping done. Did it early before the parking lots got full.
I hate shopping, the minute you hand over your credit card you know the prices will be cut by 50% on the 26th. Gotta take the wife out to dinner soon so I'll be back later.
There will be a $150 fine for XSELER8 just for posting his upcoming Saturday "no life" story.

We Zainoed the twins today. 76, sunny and beautiful. Danny had not put a protector on his SSR yet. So I redid mine and showed him in the process. So we did this together. Now wasnt that romantic? Out to supper shortly. Repeat of weather tomorrow so were meeting friends on the beach and taking a cooler of beer!!!!
The twins are covered (with Mike in AZ Noah car covers) and tucked in for the night. Were walking over to the restuarant and having a few toddies with supper and letting the twins rest.
I had to get a pic of them with the Christmas lights.

Saturday night
filets on the grill with baked potatoes and we bought NL Christmas Vacation (definately one to own), popcorn, cocktails and we're all settled in. Have no idea what the kids are up to.. so we're thinking a night to ourselves.. perfect!
Xseler8.....checkin in. Alive & well in Blue Bell. Saw Casino Royal..4pm early show. Good movie. Sushi dinner. Just got home. What I did not do today was take an SSR cruise. Maybe Sun PM.
The big question is? Where is SIDEKICK?

You really do need to get a life. Wondering about sidekick. He'll show up sooner or later. IN the meantime there are other fanatics to spar with.
SSR ran around in the rain today, got washed, tucked away and it's raining again.

You are right.....I need to get a life. I'm losin it. My SSR is stored. My Mustang is stored. Just sold my Jeep. The Front/Rear SSR bow ties that I'm having chromed are still being processed. Waysouth is selling me dried up swampland. My pool game is damaged due to lack of practice.(Too much time here). My nose runs, my feet smell(does that mean I'm built upside down?) My New years resolution is diet, exercise, not too much Fanatic, spend more time with my Wife & Mother in Law. Stop spending on my SSR......yad yada yada yeh right.
And Sir Jamie can take it......he's from Spotsylvania...Do they make flashbulbs & spotlights there?
My pool game is more like permanently disabled. Had a table in Florida, sold it for the move to CA. Bummer!
On the plus side, had a Dodge in FL, now I have an SSR instead and a bunch of fanatics for friends
Doorbell just rang. Time for the coctails, prime rib, and a bottle of cab to wash it down.
Have good time. If you drink & drive...make sure you have a car. And if you get stopped for DUI and the officer asks you why you are drinking & driving....say you were too drunk to walk.

And to you XSELER8, why did you sell the jeep? I had a couple - years ago..I got the 2nd one after the 1st one was stolen. I got a Silverado after the 2nd one was stolen... I loved them but enoughs enough!
Hi all..I’m back. It raining and its cold. Took the honey to Sizzler for dinner. Mine was so so but the wife dinner looks much better then mine.
So it looks like hdflstf is having diner with his neighbor. Knowing Art, I wouldn’t be surprise if he actually drove his SSR across the street for dinner. Maybe I better call the H.B. police department and tell them patrol his neighborhood tonight

It was built for off road driving. I was going on organized trail rides with a group of 10-20 Jeeps. I hurt my back years ago, the damage from off roading was excessive and expensive. It was sitting and not being used. It was replaced with the SSR. I had more fun with the Wrangler than any car I ever owned. It was a great experience....had fun & made friends with it.

Cool Pic's. I always wanted to do some of that kind of off-roading. I had an ORV (overland recreational vehicle) permit from the Nat'l Park Sevice to go out in the Big Cypress (swampland!) down here, so my 1st Wrangler had a modified suspension and wide tires but So. Fl. is just flat! I love seein' the "climbers" on cable tv.
What a Saturday.....9-12 the dog(max) and I worked on the building..16x30
cut the sheet metal to fit close to the roof angle...

The big question is? Where is SIDEKICK?
Sidekick was washing, waxing and trying to figure out all the buttons on my new "daily driver." I bought the SSR with every intent on driving it as my only vehicle. (The 1983 M-B I inherited from my mom not withstanding) Well, I kept getting nervous driving the SSR into DC to meet with clients largely because it draws so much attention. Also, some of the valets were smoking the tires, so I went out and bought my truck a new car! How sad is that?
Just your basic 4-door sedan made by VW, I think they call it a Pissant. Now I can park anywhere in DC or Richmond and a lot closer to the door at most businesses! I could not care less if it gets dinged ot bumped! You would have cracked up at the look on the VW dealers face after he said, "the resale value on these is really great" and I replied, "Who cares? I have lost more on the truck I like to drive than this thing is worth!" I think the poor man is still trying to figure out that one!
Now I can drive the SSR on the important trips, you know, the ones for mental health!
