I guess a YEN is a coin, right ?
I DON'T know why anyone would even consider a [] or X-Bread truck. Why not an AMERICAN car ? The FORD Flex for example, it's got a low roof line, plenty of interior room, and gets good fuel mileage. And you may even save an AMERICAN job or two. JMH{bias}O
We considered an HHR. GM and it's parts support? Never again. I got slapped in the face once...and proper. GM is out of the question. And it hurts to feel this way. I passed on a Vette and currently the HHR
We have 3 American cars and I'd buy another one again & again. However, Buying any car is supporting American workers. The salesman, service, parts dept., body shops, insurance companies and so on.

So why not a Ford Focus?

Don't want that. To each his own. Our first choices were a Fit, Versa, Yaris.
We sat in a box and sort of liked it. They are roomy, funky and fairly inexpensive.
First thing I do when I pick it up will be to remove any badges and put a chrome MAYTAG on the hood & tailgate

I am a Honda guy, so my pick is the FIT. My 2001 Insight has proven to be an invaluable friend.....great MPGs and dependability.....I hear the FIT is the same.

If you wanna know the truth, I've always liked the scion. My friend bought one and it was white. I found an old Good humor sticker and hung it on his Scion. He laughed his butt off when he came out of the house and knew it was me!

Which one do you think is Uglier? We were looking at Nissan's today and sat in a Cube. It seems to be a good inexpensive Knock Around kind of ride. We're going to look at a Scion also. Any owners out there.
Saw a Cube on my way to work... that thing is SOOOOO ugly!! Give me the sexy curves of a SSR ANYDAY!!!

A CUBE is an SSR inside out. However I will order the Square Hard Top ugly model with cheap interior.
Ugly does not matter. I'm a bit on that side myself. I'll fit right in.
