SNL for 10-27-07

Welcome to the final edition of SNL for October 2007.

Wow…what a week we So Californians had to go though. We need to continue providing prayers to those who lost there homes.

Check your local Red Cross organization and see how you can donate funds, clothes, can foods, whatever for the victims of this 7 day wildfire.

So Halloween coming this week. Who’s going trick or treating and who not? If not, why not. Remember, their no age barrier for this event.

Just love the smile of our Ms. Oct (Karyn Byers) as it one of my favorite calendar pictures to post up in my wall.

Sign in and join us for an on-line party that at times, can totally get out of control

I'm not going trick or treating. My b-day is on Halloween so I'm sure I'll be doing something else. Like sulking in a corner about being another year older.

I'm in pooped out from lifting tile and stripping wallpaper..........

Set a goal today and finished it Tiles out wallpaper down!!!We figured out we can make the shower 9" larger and 3" taller. Since hubby is 6'2 I'm pretty sure this is the route we are going to take.

Tomorrow we will be making a trip to mile tile.......there is a strip of tile shops close to my home. Will be dropping to to get some ideas and color scheme.
We have never tried our hand a tiling....this will be the first time

Daughters going to a 1980's Halloween Party tonight. Helped her put together a 1980's punk rocker costume.

I am hungry though....maybe we'll head out to dinner

Easy travel day today. Omaha to Denver. ~ 555 mi. 7hrs with Mtn. Time Zone gain of 1hr. Checked into Hotel. Drove to other side of Interstate to Medved Checy/Cad and had SSR and Trailer Washed. Nice people. The UV SSR and Trailer was a big hit with ROCKIES Fans. LOL.
Everyone have a good evening.

Ran out to Palm Springs and back to visit the Corvairs. Go the new dryer hooked up and running. Last weekend was the washer since the 'old' one decided to spit the transmission gears out of the case.

Stalked an SSR this afternoon on the way back from Home Depot. Got to chat with John who has an 05 and lives just a couple of blocks away. He should be joining up with us very soon as he didn't know about us but is very interested..

Just got in from sweeping up the patio of ashes & leaves & it started raining again. It look like it will be a rainy night now. Will have to finish cleaning up the yard next weekend as I'm heading down south tomorrow.

Birthday celebrations!

Lloyd and I are in Ripon, Ca (central Calif.) for the weekend. We are here to celebrate one of the granddaughter's 4th birthday and also Lloyd's son who turned 40. Went to 2 soccer games this morning, then birthday shopping this afternoon. We are sending Lloyd's son and wife out for a quiet dinner and movie, but we'll be having our private birthday party with the girls....dinner, games and prizes for all.

I resemble that remark. I made a run to the hazardous waste recycle center, Then I cleaned up the back yard, and in the midst of all that I did two loads of laundry.

I am not trick or treating this year as I must stay home and feed the little goblins their annual portion of nickles, dimes and quarters when the beat on my door. Don't want them beating it down instead.
