I know the feeling............hubby wants one too.
Took Mom out for her 1st Cruise in my SSR. No top down though, drizzly overcast.
We just passed passed on an '04 that my wife had her eye on. I researched it a little. Too many owners in 2 years. Sumtin wasn't Kosher.
So we got an '06 HHR 2LT, 2.4L, White w/ the chrome pkg. roof rack, sunroof, 17" wheels, running boards, molded flaps, grey leather interior. Leftover, still on the dealers side lot w/only 30 miles. My wife loves it!

Hey gang...
Working nightshift this weekend and landscaping in the afternoon after a few hours sleep in the mornings. Had a pool put in last summer and now we are doing all of the digging and work to make it look nice. Only problem is that we discovered a leak. Had the pool guy out this morning to inspect and now we are draining down to the base of the pool wall for him to come back on Monday to repair. Nothing major, but Debbie is having them replace all of the pool chemicals we put in and reimburse for the water, too. She drives a hard bargain
I ran all the wiring and hooked up the 12 volt lights around the perimeter today and will be putting down the landscape mat and washed gravel tomorrow afternoon. Busy, busy, busy......

I wouldn't mind, we have a large family reunion every year at our place (50 to 60 people) so having room isn't a problem. Just fitting it in with all of the other great places to go and do that are already on the schedules. Maybe some day we could plan an Ohio River cruise. We used to live right on the banks of the Ohio before we built our current home. The Blennerhassett mansion is a great place to visit (15 minutes away) and the only access is via sternwheelers out to the island it resides on. See link below. A lot of history in this place.

I've been trying to get Mary & Dee to come up with some ideas in the Ohio area for a MI SSR Club Run. Sounds like you have an idea.....they can't think of anything we could do. We should plan this for next year or even a fall run.....What do you think? I'll get back with you on this one

Just remember...I am in the far southeastern part of the state. Follow I77 down through Ohio to the border of West Virginia and that is where we are located. But it could be fun. We have the Sternwheel festival on the second weekend of Sept every year in Marietta (exit 1 on I77)
