More details will follow in the next month on the timeline and specifics of the book.

Thanks for everyone's help on this fun project!!!

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the delay in a response. I've been away from the site and my computer for a while.

We are still working on the book, but it's taken longer than we thought. We're working towards a spring release. We'll be announcing pre-orders for the book probably around February. We'll have to pay for the book printing completely before it is shipped.

Thanks to everyone for their great recipes! I'm looking forward to the finished product so everyone can enjoy!

I'll keep you posted on how things go. Please feel free to PM me, too, since I'm won't be on the computer as much this holiday season.

Thanks again!

I'm sorry for such a long delay in a response. The short story is that life had some unexpected turns for JT and me and I had to step away from the cookbook and hand it over to someone else our in Colorado group. Ms. gnarly_dude has generously offered to coordinate this project. We still have all the recipes everyone submitted. I will check back with her and one of us will update this post shortly on the latest status of this project. She will do a great job!

The long story is that last spring JT and I had to focus on unemployment issues and find jobs ASAP. This meant I needed to re-enter the job market after being home with my daughter for the last 4 years. It's been a challenge. I'm still looking, but feel pretty good about the prospects in my field here in CO. I realized I didn't have the capacity right now to finish the book and got it in the hands of someone who can do it well.

We also thought we were going to have to sell the SSR. But JT found a great job he loves and we were fortunate enough to keep the SSR. With JT commuting in another vehicle, I've had fun driving the SSR. For those of you who know me well, know that I never drove the SSR. Now, I'm experiencing more of the joy you all know about including perma-grin! It's a lot of fun to drop my daughter off at school in the SSR and wave at my fellow soccer mom's in their mini-vans!

Thank you for your support of this project and your patience!
