Thumbs down It takes all kinds

What would the world be without all the different kinds of people out there. Take this guy on here who was selling some items. I talked to him this morning and was told "No problem, I wont sell it to anyone else before talking to you, then again this afternoon, and again I was told,"We have a done deal" but I get on here tonight to get some garbage "Well this other guy is interested in it, but if that falls thru, you are definetly next in line."

Well I say "Bull***t. I guess I am back to buying from people I know and can actually trust. As for you, and you know who you are,... you are what gives other sellers bad names. If you are going to make a deal, and yes it was verbal and on the phone, then make the damn deal, and don't back out later. I find your behavior very unprofessional, but on the other hand, you are probally do business like that all the time, I am just the fool who ddn't know it, until now.

DO NOT bother to contact me, our dealings are finished.

I won't mention this persons name on here, but I still needed to speak out against unscrupulous providers.

I'm sorry to hear this Mike. This hasn't happened to me except by an "outside" vendor but it doesn't mean it won't. I say if someone is looking for a higher bid, say so from the get go.

oh really?

The rest of you might want to keep that in mind when dealing with Yell 04, and his garage sell.

Focks, dude, you have been having one heck of a bad week, haven't you?

You've been libeled the Mean Mr. Goose, your account has been hacked, and now your honor system has been whacked by an unscrupulous seller.

You might want to bear in mind that tomorrow is Friday the 13th.

Perhaps you should consider hiding somewhere for the duration.

I made a deal here recently, price set and it's all good, then nothing, no response. Turns out it was sold to another FANATIC and I "hear" it was because he didn't want to ship to Hawaii. Last time I checked, USPS Priority pricing is the same to ALL 50 States. Get the facts before you post S&H included.

Sorry Mikey, but you know for some, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE $$$. The rest it's about the love for the truck and FRIENDSHIP & those are the folks that we need to deal with!

P.S. and I was 1st to respond to the Predator and gears for sale and did not get a response!

I do think that there should be HONOR amongst fellow fanatics. Deals are not made to be broken, ever! Thank you Focks for calling it what it is. We all should learn from this. Sorry to hear that any fanatic would treat another one in this manner.

I need a drink!

Oh my God. I need a drink after reading this thread.
The vision of Fock NAKED, talking to SSR6SPD about SS/R parts. This sounds like a real Friday the 13th movie.
See ya, going to get a drink and make this vision go away..

It would appear that this guy was two stepping around everyone.. I hope whomever got things frokm it checks what they were sold, it seems that he was not what he appear to be, and that would also make me want to question what he was selling.

It is also interesting that he makes no attempt to clear his name or at least explain the situation. Bizarre !!!!!!
