Not quite, RRR.

MAC's are not perfect but, as I posted, definitely better than PC's with virus issues.

In fact, there is nothing absolutely perfect anymore!

But they don't. The Mac OSX is not the intended target of viruses very often, so it is very hard to compare. I've heard 92% of viruses are PC by design. A PC has a lot more avenues for viruses, but I think that is more of a MicroSoft Suite issue? I can vouch that my PCs has been victimized by viruses (and usually healed) that do not effect my Mac at all.

My kids report that their MacBook Pros, which run both OSX and Windows systems, have fewer virus problems than their older PC laptops did.

The major reason for this is quite simple. Mac operating systems represent about 5% of computers sold, whereas PC systems are the other 95%. If you're going to write a virus program, it would do MORE damage and spread FASTER among the 95% of the World's computers.
