Useless Post Count Info
I was trying to fill up some spare time I had and started wondering about Post Count. We all know who the leaders are in the total number of posts. But did you ever wonder who has the highest number of posts per day?? I was a bit suprised.
Our wonderful moderator MarcNY came up wit 3.87. Not too bad.
WOW_FCTR who seems to post everywhere only had 2.29.
Gina with her smile and pitchers has 4.45
Mike in Az topped her with 4.53
Big Focks comes in with 4.61
HotRodGirl submits 6.31 per day. Thought she had more than that.
89 Rod beats her out with 6.44 per day.
Our number one poster Wildcat comes in with 7.35 per day. How many thought she was number one???
But wait!!!!
SSRGARAGE tops her with 8.40 posts per day!!!!!!
And the Number one member with the highest post count comes in with a whopping 11.96 posts per day!!!!! Top spot goes to XSELER8!!!
So How many guessed correctly????
These are based on counts on 5/18/07 and subject to change as the girls see that they aren't posting enough
My SSR: Black, '03, 1sb, #1256, License Plate was WOW FCTR
My daily post count has actually increased dramatically over the last year. About a year ago I was at 1 per day. My average is hindered by the fact that I was on this forum 7 months before the SSR even came out and there were only 100 or so members here.....so we probably averaged 1 post per week at that time
There was no FNRC or SNL
There were no events
There wasn't anyone selling anything
There wasn't any Happy Birthday wishing, etc.
Boy this forum has certainly has become a great place to be a part of.
(At 11.96 post per day, I bet someone wasn't DRIVING his SSR alot )

Summer and Winter Posts
Maybe we should review this again at the end of summer.......I find myself being off line more now that the weather has gotten nice enough to have the SSR out
No doubt post count is higher in the winter months for those of us who wish and wait for warmer weather
FRL and SNL have a great deal to do with the increase...gives you a chance of not hijacking someones thread and the conversation is a variety of topics. I think they are great for abnormal conversations

Abnormal? Look how much we learned last year
I agree and I think we'll see a decrease of post # on FRL & SNL during the warmer period of the year.
Question... when did FRL & SNL first started here.
THIS IS THE REASON I'M ON THE COMPUTER SO MUCH. I'M DAMAGED. Seriously, These are real time complaints...not contrived. I went twice this season. One more orchestra session and it's back to heavy booze & possibly medication. A man can only take so much. Besides that...missed FNRC last week.
Where can I check on my own stats? I doubt I get much more than 1.x posts/day averaged.

See what you're missing? Spend more time on the computer and you'll save money on gas and wear-and-tear on your SSR!
Dingbat, glad to see the lizards back. AH, Springtime in the garden !! Oh, and my posting rate went down because my puter broke and I have to share my hubby's. Needless to say it's kinda hard to get a word in edgewise now.
And what about the forum that was so active before this one got started! We were all chomping at the bit back then! How many jumped from that forum and what was it called? By the way, the interface was pretty lame compared to this but the content was great!
