Well this is not the reason I want to get to go home early on a Friday. I stood up and the cabinet door was left open......needless to say it hurt like *&#@. No stitches at least. They made me stay until they were sure I was OK. Actually I think my pride was hurt more that the top of my head. So now its early weekend for me.

Just got back from Setting up the booth at the Bayou Art Show. Man was traffic horrific, everywhere. Anyone who had a car, was in it.

I just read about that .....that's what I am trying next They say to clear up your sinus you should do this hot water treatment 4 times a day. I was amazed with how well it worked .....relieved all the pressure I had around my cheek bones and above my forehead

The over the counter medicines aren't doing anything for it

Been a busy week here too..... Of course there was work, but took off Thursday to do Fire Prevention for the elementary school. Had them set up a fire drill as we brought the truck into the parking lot. Lights and sirens blaring. Then set up in front of the building and taught from pre-K to 2nd grades (we do this every year). Started at about 8:30 am and didn't finish until after noon. We enjoyed it, and the kids seemed to have a good time. I took Chief the dalmation, and he seemed to like all the kids for about the first hour, then just tolerated them. He sure was a tired puppy when we got back home... one walk around in the house to make sure it was all there and then straight to the couch, for a well deserved nap.
Tomorrow afternoon will be our Fire Prevention day in town, with every department in the county having a truck "on the courthouse square" for kids and adults to come and look, touch, climb on, and have explained about. We've set up for cornhole game, and several other activities to include a fire truck drag race down the main street.
Should be fun, and hopefully will help educate not only the kids, but some adults as well.
And of course, Chief will get to help too.
Sunday...well that will be rest, and relaxation, a little Nascar, a good steak w/ a tater and salad. A cold one or two and prepare for next week.
Some where in there will definately be a cruise in the R, I don't care if it's short or long, but it will be there!!

Happy Friday everyone, and a great week end to all!

Now there is a thought This is so bad I can't even think clear ...hard to do when you are working with numbers all day I just want to get better. Since I am just completing my forth day ....our doc won't give us antibiotics unless it is necessary...so I have to be sure there is a reason to go in. The hot water treatment worked ..will continue this treatment for the weekend if I am not better on Monday then in I go
