What Would You Do ??

Yesterday afternoon, around 4:10 p.m. Pacific time, we were in a WalMart shopping. We live in Texas but are visiting in California. Mary received a cell phone call from Dish Network Satellite TV. The guy asked her if she would be interested in Dish Satellite. Mary asked him how he got her cell phone number. His reply was 'are you interested or are you going to be a bitch about it'? She asked "what did you just say?". He repeated the same question. She told him all she wanted him to do was remove her number from his list and he said "no" and hung up. He may not have known that his number appeared on her phone. I know I am going to call Dish during their business hours and if I can find a way, pay this man a personal visit. What would you do?

First, I'd definitely report it to the FCC.

I've recently had several of the same type calls...its probably not really Dish but a retailer. When I said NO! to whatever they were selling since I was considering switching, they offered me the "other guy" on the spot.

I understand that if you tell them to remove you from their list, they have to do that and can be fined if they call again...save that number...but I think most people do not follow-up and telemarketers continue to get away with it.

Judging from his response: If his balls are as big as he would like you to believe, you will have no trouble kicking them.

I would call the company back and tell them you are interested in the Comcast Special.....Tell them you got a call from extension whatever in reference to Comcast Cable.
