My SSR: slingshot yellow 05' #16651 Born on10/15/04
1st was a 63' SWC , 1st car I ever did a frame-up on (ex got that)
Then... 65' Riviera (still have it... getting new power plant shortly)
NOW... Thetub
My SSR: 06 'REDRUMP' - Yeah it's my personal work in progress in a never ending battle to keep it clean.
Oh that's a good question...and with out a doubt the Ford GT 40 both new and old. AND it has to be red with white racing stripes! If I had the money it would have been my first car but......SSR was my second choice.
My SSR: 06 six speed pacific blue over smokin asphalt
My first love was a 96 Impala SS (1996-2003)
2003 50th anniversary corvette vert (2003-2004)
2004 Reline Red SSR (2004-2006)
2006 Blue over Black SSR (2006 - Present)
I would have to say mine was a 64 GTO with Hurst shifter and tri power. Got three tickets the first week of owning, exhibition driving, excessive. noise and speeding, that was a few years ago, was real fun to drive.
My favorite was our 1970 Jaguar E-type roadster (please don't say XKE - there was never any such vehicle). Not the bloated overweight V12 either. The inline 6 had such a sweet sound to it.
I still have a set of wire wheels and knock off caps for that car in my attic (driver condition - not show). If anyone has a vintage Jag or knows someone that does, I'm willing to let them have the wheels.
Hummm... Mine would have to be a 1962 Corvette... I LOVE that body style and 1962 is the year I was born! As a teen I had an opportunity to buy one for $6K in great shape.... I regret not doing that to this day! But I suffered with a 1972 Vette with 10K miles, factory side pipes and the 380HP 350 offered in 1972... I was suffering for sure!
My SSR: #1740 - Yellow ~ Built 11-18-2003 Took Delivery 12/05/2003
Pre SSR ride...
Favorite: '85 ZL900 Kawasaki Eliminator - First year release, built in Lincoln Neb., longest/lowest production bike at that time.
0-60 in 2.2 - it is really a wonder that I'm still alive... I took it to 145 a few times while leaving many others behind....
Most Good Times: a '57 VW bug w/ small oval rear window... The High School vehicle... Yanked the back seat - put "wall to wall" shag carpet back there and had a VW limo.

THAT WOULD BE MY RED & WHITE 56 CHEVY NOMAD AND MY NASUA BLUE AND HARBOR BLUE 56 CHEVY CONVERT. SOLD THE CONVERT TO PAY FOR MY FIRST CHILD. THE WIFE WOULD NOT LET ME LEAVE IT AT THE HOSPITAL TILL HE WAS 21.
In my 36 years of driving, I’ve own 7 other vehicles and in looking back, I feel each one was a favorite to me.. otherwise I wouldn’t have owned it in the first place.
Mine was a new '65 GTO, a cousin asked me why I bought the 2 speed auto instead of a four speed (answer: wife), so I proceeded to demostrate the auto witha burn out that took the tires down to the cord. Very, very expensive demo, the last time I ever did that. My next favorite was my 82 El Camino, 3.8 litre V6 with Edlebrock 4bbl intake and Competition (company not grind), cam. Both vehicles ultimately fell victim to road salt. I don't plan on the SSR ever being out when the salt is down.
