Where to put Indy Sticker?

A customer gave me the ‘Indy Motor Speedway’ sticker that was part of the 50th anniversary Corvette Indy Pace Car labeling package. It is the winged tire with flags. The sticker is 8.25” x 4.25”.

I think I want to put it on the tailgate but can’t even decide where on the tailgate to put it. Above the SSR? Opposite the SSR? Above or below the bowtie?

What do you think?

Glenn

Got to be honest. No, for my vote. Too busy. Put the sticker on a plaque or something. Don't mean to hurt any feelings.

Put the sticker on your luggage . . . stickers are for motor homes (states where I've been, what I'm doing with my kid's inheritance, etc.)

Does it mater it is the same sticker that came on the Indy Vettes?

Over the bowtie holes. Nice sticker, and the pinstripe would then accent the Indy 500 logo. Could do the upper windshield, but that would be getting busy, IMHO...

Well your SSR with those flames looks hot just the way it is.. Besides if it comes on a Corvette why would you want it on a SSR???? It looks great just as you have it now..

NO.

Is anyone asking Mike why he put a non-SSR Chevy "fuelie flag" on his tailgate?

Once made a sign exactly like the original one that hung at Gasoline Alley, out of masonite, 7+ feet wide. Gave it to my brother... lol. It still hangs in my Mom's garage 30 years later, looking as great as the day I made it. It's a cool logo.

Tape it wherever, grab a favorite beverage while sitting in a chair, and stare at it for awhile. If that doesn't work, grab a Hooters girl and ask her...

You could give to me since I won the 2007 Corvette Pace Car from the National Corvette Museum and I would put it on the Vette

For a tiny decal like that I'd put it on the rear window centered of course at the base...maybe about 2-3 inches from the bottom. I think you'll like it.
