Wimbeldon 2009

Heck of a gentlemen's match going on right now as I sit in my office half-working/watching

I, obviously, am rooting for the local Austin, TX boy...

OP, not many tennis fans I guess. That was Roddick's best match ever. It was the longest Wimbledon final, in terms of total games, ever. It just didn't have the drama of last years match with Raffa though! Over 50 aces for Roger, by far his best serving match ever. The mens game is in great shape for many years to come! Maybe Roddick can get another US Open title with the game he has now?!

OP My wife plays 2-3 times a week, has been to Wimbledon 2-3 times, and watches every hour of Wimbledon on the TV. She cheers during the match and was pulling for both Andys over the last couple of weeks. Why? Because she from Glasgow Scotland. I am a car nut and she is a tennis nut.

Always try to watch the men's final at the least and didn't miss a minute of it yesterday...sorry, I'm a RF fan since Andre retired. Missed the women's double, had to switch over to golf and watch the Tiger take #68

I wish Roddick had won... though I have always liked Federer. It was one of those matches you enjoy watching because you like both players.

I have to admit ... I am no fan of the Williams sisters. Always have an excuse when they lose... never compliment their competition.

I still play about 5 times a week, when I am not injured. Its hell getting old.

BUBEAR, I'm with you concerning the Williams. Not much class when they lose, but all smiles when holding the trophy. My favorite player currently is Nadal, now there is a genuine and humble guy. He was so nice to Federer after beating him at the Australian Open. Roger is a great guy too!! I like James Blake best of the US players, but it doesn't look like he'll ever get to a Grand Slam final. He's another real classy guy that's been through hell in his career. I just hope Raffa's knees don't end his career prematurely!!

I like Nadal and Blake... the only man I always root against is Djokovic. Just a classless punk!!! I feel better now that I got that out..thanks
