About tuning and porting throttle bodies

Hey Guys just wanted to get the word out about tuning and porting and some of the other stuff that we do. We are a small shop that can make a huge difference in your vehicle at a reasonable price. We can do many installations of all sorts from heads and cam to blowers and suspension components etc. We do all of our own in house porting of the Throttle bodies, intake manifolds, and cylinder heads. And we have been tuning for over 8years and tuned thousands of vehicles.
The TBs on the SSRs are extremely restrictive up until about 50% throttle and we reshape the TB so that it flows much more air with less throttle applied. This does not change ANY idling parameters. What it does is it makes the vehicle feel much more responsive and gives the feeling of greatly improved TQ and throttle response all the way across the power band.
We port cylinder heads to gain overall flow and raise or lower the compression depending on the application. Our base cylinder heads pick up about 25RWHP and make the vehicle much more fun to drive

There are many ares in the tune that we can improve the overall driving experience. For example SSRs have a fuel delay that limits heavy throttle power as well as overall performance and throttle response. There are many very conservative settings that can be modified to better MPG, Greater HP and TQ and throttle response. If you are running 93OCT there is plenty of power on the table and if the vehicle has been modified at all it is a bit out of tune. Even stk vehicles on 87 OCT can be greatly improved though if it were 93 we could really get aggressive. We have had some SSRs gain as much as 4mpg but I would expect to see about 2mpg and that coupled with more power is money well spent.

I have done a slew of mail order tunes and ported TBs for SSRs in the past and it is a great performance package.
We do our mail order tunes for $275 shipped and street tunes for $300 and the TBs for $150.
Together we do them for $400 shipped (or if local $425 installed) and it should be the best money you spend on the truck. It will make the biggest difference and be the most bang for the buck other than Nitrous!!
Thank you all and God Bless
