Firestone or Dunlops

Firestone tire in phoenix has 3 tires in stock, they ordered the other one 1 week ago. So I was thinking If I had a blowout how long would I be without my SSR. So I researched Dunlops, they are available and have a higher speed rating but rated as high over all on tie racks survey! So the question Firestones or Dunlops? I called Firestone on sunday and was informed the ordered tire still wasn't been shipped What to do

Pirellis

I put Pirelli Scorpion Net Zero on my '05. Higher speed rating, higher load capacity, better tread wear warranty, less rolling resistance than OEM, and less expensive than Dunlops. Fronts are 1" larger diameter than OEM, but just fills the wheel well better, doesn't affect ride.

After I put on the Dunlops, the steering it tighter and more responsive, traction (wet and dry) is better, and the cornering limits are higher. I'm sold. Of course my opinion is a little biased...
The Firestones look like they would be a really good choice as well but I didn't want the diameter change on the fronts.

Actually, only the front tires were different diameter. The rear set is an exact size replacement for OEM, so I didn't have speedo calibration concerns.
