Throttle trouble?

I am new to the SSR owners club as of 7/23/09. I have a 2005 Black 6-speed with 3000 miles on it. Today I was leaving Mistwood Golf Club and pulled out into the east bound lane to find that I had almost no throttle. I could get 2500 RPM's and almost got rear-ended. I'm still on factory warranty until 1/27/10 and I have an appointment with Bill Jacobs to replace my struts and lid hinges. Is this a typical problem with the SSR? When I got home I restarted it and had throttle again.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like ignition switch...known issue, cheap and simple to replace.
