Trying to Post Animated Signature

This GIF works when I open it; wanting to see if I can add to my signature.

It's to large you'll have to size it to a 150 X 150 for uploading and for the gif to work

That was too obvious I now know how the person felt when they called for computer support and was told to turn the computer on.

Will work on making it smaller or try your other suggestion.

Thanks

If you use the other suggestion.....it's better ....than you don't have to size it to a 150 x 150. Using the Villiage site I can upload my gif's there and use them as a host site for uploading back to here....if they still are to large for the signature area then I use this free program http://www.gifworks.com/ to make them 250 x 250 or smaller or larger if I want (depends on how it looks in the signature area).

Try both they are free and gives you a better display in the signature area

BTW I love your Tug Boat Avatar

Found Gifworks; resized it and it works. Will play with the size, as it is now too small.

Thanks for your help and the compliment. It is amazing what you find with Google.

Try using the Village Photos site
You can upload it there in it's original format then link it back to here in the signature area. The reason why mine are so large in the sig area is because mine are all larger than the recommended 150 x150 for this site.

When you sign up on the site.....upload your sig photo to that site. After you do that PM me and I will send you step by step instructions on how to insert it back to this site with maintaining it's larger proportion.

Played some more with the size and think I have the hang of it now. I'm happy with the size now. Will try the Village Photo site; if I have any problems, I will take you up on your offer to help.

Time for me to hit the pillows. Thanks again for all the help.

Your gif size is not restricted to 150 x 150 for your signature area. Take a look at HRG's her's is definately larger than her Avatar.

OH Yes... and so is mine.

Oops sorry The 150 x 150 is the avatar size but then.........................
There are two ways to insert pics to the sig area
Your Current Signature Picture
Insert Signature Picture

Delete current image? Upload Signature PictureSupporting Members may upload a new custom image using the controls below. Use the upload control to upload an image directly from your own computer.

Enter URL to Image:

Upload Image From Your Computer:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). The HRG pic is resticted to this size according to the site instructions.

The fall Betty Boop is sized 350 X 218 using the Villiage photos site to instert it into the sig area.
