Question 4:3 vs 16:9 ratio

It sounds to me like you still have one of the standard 4:3 ratio Monitors... like what I still have at work and used to have at home. I do know that wider screen monitors are becoming more of a common place these days. I believe that all websites have been sizing their forums or sites to now be viewed on HD Monitors and or other wider screens ratios these days. FYI: I now have a 23" HD wide screen and even though it is sooo wide I don't need to open it up to it's full width to see everything without scrolling from side to side.

I do know that scrolling around on a 4:3 ratio screen can be a pain in the butt (I have done it for years) unfortunately until you get a wider screen monitor you will need to continue with your scrolling around.

FYI: I just took a snap shot of my desktop to show you the difference between the viewing of the two different size ratios.
