I had this issue the other day and PM'd Marc NY about it. He told me you can only delete if you are the 2nd post. I did not remember it thta way but he said he was working on a project and would get back to me later. Glad to see someone else is having the same issue.
trying to edit this in response to artsmart's post about editing

You have never been able to delete a thread without the help of a moderator, but never had any problems deleting posts after the initial thread posting. You can, however, edit the original thread content...that's been my experience.

I just tried and the "Edit" button is still there but the "Delete" and "Delete this post" buttons are gone.
I to deleate a lot of posts look at my post count ... far from true.
Deleating stuff is a good thing. You will see a lot of empty posT from me if this is not changed back.

Does the POST COUNT back down as posts are deleted? I have not thought to look before you said this? I guess not if we lose the ability to DELETE.

That is correct.
Only a Moderator or Administrator can delete threads. Members can only edit the thread's first post only. The second and subsequent postings is where you should be able to delete them.
If you are still unable to delete I will have to look further into that issue.

Guess you have to be a Non-SM smart a$$.
I'm still able to delete posts, all buttons are still there..
You do have to click edit, then click go advanced, highlight the delete post at top and then click delete button but it still works....

Tried that procedure but there is no "delete post" at the top to be highlighted

I understand yours and everyone else's frustrations here. But until we get the software glitch fixed you can always go back in and edit out or remove all your comments right?
