You need to make your images a .jpg in order to upload larger file sizes!

Mike ... 200.2 KB file size limits have always been in place!
Please ... take a closer look at your photo attachment window when you are uploading your images.
There is one format .jpg that will allow you to upload a huge file up to the max file size of 976.6 KB & 2500x2500 pixels. If you want to use other formats then YES you are restricted to 200.2 KB and yes it has always been that way (to my knowledge).
FYI: Mike I have never used a jpg picture with 2500x2500 pixel size. That is a huge size image once it is uploaded and viewed on our site. I don't recommend more than 1500x1500.
*If you are have trouble converting to .jpg format then I recommend that you try hosting your photo off of any photo hosting website like Photobucket or Flicker etc. That way you won't have to worry about your file sizes because our site will automatically resize it for you.
Marc,
You should copy and post your information under the Articles in Review area or somewhere where we other members can reference your info to any others who have downloading problems down the long winding road.[/COLOR]

This has nothing to do with jpg. file size, I'm fully aware of that nearly 3 years here as a paying member. It's the # of pictures allowed to post.
I was attempting to upload a jpg. 750 x 965 or 142 kb.
I'm receiving this message: Sum of all attachments owned by Maui Mike: 208.39 MB Exceeds your quota by 206.63 MB.
So back to my original question, do we have a limit?
Any photo I attempt to upload at this time gets me the same message. All are within the alloted size limitation. According to my math, I'm only allowed 1.76 mb of photo uploads, that's 208.39 minus 206.63

Mike, I remember this happening when the site sold some time back...everyone I know was getting this message and many of us went in and deleted a number of our attachments only to discover something was wrong with the site itself. Hopefully it gets rectified once again.

RED, is what I was seeing this Fall when this happened to me. I went in and deleted some of my pictures and then they found out it wasn't my fault but the fault of the site. It is the sites fault again, I'm sure!!

MIKE if you would have been a little more clearer with your original question about your limits ... then I would have known to answered it differently! Mike I had interpreted your questions as asking about your file size "upload" limits not your photo storage limits. Since you have now "clarified" your original question more I believe I now understand what you are asking. It appears to me that you are having difficulties with your file "Storage" limits. If that is correct then I believe it may be due to a programing or software error on the site.
FYI: It is my understanding that all Supporting Members should have unlimited storage.
I will have to ask our new owner's Administrator to check on why this is happening to some of our Supporting Members.

Marc,
Just tried to upload 4 pix, 301kb each, from today's run and received the error message: "exceeds your quota by 78.63 MB" following two files the other two show 78. 61 MB and 78.63 MB respectively. The note also indicates that: "Sum of all attachements owned by BlueStreak: 80.28 MB"
Hope you can get this straight. I really have been trying to understand but frustration can be a nasty driver.

Does anyone know the status of the fix???
If you think the ads are plentiful now just log in as one of our regular members or as one of our guests and not as a Supporting Member and see how many ads there are then.

It shouldn't take this long as I sent both you and Nadeem a PM on the 4th Dec.
