You can't delete the first post in a thread - you would have to ask a Moderator to do that for you, and we can only do it by removing the entire thread.
If you are talking about a post other than the first one...I see a delete button now, but I'm a moderator....

Not totally true John. I've heard some members who are not moderator still have that delete button.

I didn't say non-moderators did not have delete buttons, I was stating (maybe not clearly) that because I was a moderator, I did not know if regular members had/did not have this button.
The fact that it is available in some threads and not in others has been brought up before, but I don't have any answers there. It would take one of the Admins to dig for that anomaly.
