Just trying to help Brother out he has a 1986 Silver,With Black Convertable Roadster never been in the Rain really never been on the Road lol anyway he Lives in Seattle the Car has 6,200 miles on it garage kept under cover looks and smells new still he is asking 20,000 if interested send me a PM will give you contact info Thanks for your time Doug Adkins

I gave it a try yesterday. The splined post is not going to come out without a fight, and certainly not without taking the entire pedal off. I'll save it for another day when I'm ready for a fight.

That is one I will offer up in the Corvette clubs I'm in but its a tough sell for that year.

Exactly right and my mechanic changed out the whole thing in ten mins. I'll ask him his technique...

It's easier to remove the pedal assembly. Less of a project.
