I thought you were coming for a visit & to bring me one of those umbrella holders

As for your question, I always wondered that too since we are closer to Central Mexico, along the Tropic of Cancer lattitude, than say... Washington

I agree with you all and wonder why BC and Alberta are not in Canada...they all seem a bit odd - especially that single state all by its lonesome

parts of Canada requested to be put into NorthWest....

As for Hawaii....I don't know why it is there, but so far no one from Hawaii has asked it to be moved (that I know of).

Well, now that there is a Super Ferry that can haul automobiles between islands, maybe our Hawaiian Fanatics would like their own forum??

How about it, Mike?

It's off & on, mostly down for repairs, cracked keel or broken rudder or something along those lines. Very few are using it. They promised, one flat fee, car plus the people inside in seats, not like a truck full or anything like that. And then they started charging by vehicle and per person, one way. It's still cheaper to fly RT & rent a car, then to take the Ferry. Then they charge extra to get into the bar. Always the fear of protestors when you get to your destination.

Parts of Canada requested to be put into the NorthWest??????

Why not move Hawaii from Pacific Northwest to Pacific as that about as close as Hawaii can get to the I-10.

I hear people in Alaska talk about the lower 48. maybe that should be the lower 49 including Hawaii. Or refer to the lower contiguous 48 and the lower Hawaii. But Hawaii is on the same line as lower Florida. So maybe Hawaii should be included in the reference to the lower 49.
