I stand corrected. HRG has way over 500 threads. So any thread of hers prior to March 2007 is archived. Maybe they are accessible through the process you mentioned.
I have gone through the member list countless times trying to select Fanatics whose posts could relate back to early times. Yourself, Ron Saint Pauley, Waynesworld,Troy Roberts, Wowfactor are examples of who I would look for all posts to get back to 2003. Many of you have far in excess of 500 posts, so again, it is the luck of the draw running into your posts by getting lucky enough to find relevant threads serving my/our purposes. Obviously I miss some important types, like Chevylover I would not likely have ever picked up on because of low volume posting. Morty, Freezer would have been others without being advised to look there I would have only been able to come across from reading threads.
I refer back to Waynesworld. His threads are all accessible as he only had 17 threads but they go right back to 2003. But his posts only go back to May, 2006 (his last 500) meaning the ones of interest to me are not accessible. I know I have read a lot of his older posts between 500 and 698 because I have run across them in other old threads but without knowing what threads he posted in I won't know.
Going to the extreme HRG has 20K plus posts so her old posts from 03/04 is hit or miss by running across them in old threads. When I look at people I deem of interest scanning their posts often lead to threads of great interest. Rather a Catch22 if you would.
Fanatics who have the "hand typed" user names that are N/L members started threads back in 2003 also and many were the ones ordering the early SSR's. I have begun saving their posts for interest sake but only run across them as I come across them in old threads.
So, in a nutshell, if you figure a way to access past 500 posts that would be great. Accessing the hand typed guys (I know you can't) would be spectacular. I believe the old threads are all there and accessible, just by stumbling around through the posts.
I don't believe the posts and threads in excess of 500 can be deleted from the individual data bank because there is proof of there existence and if they were deleted from one they would disappear from the other. Sorry this one is so long Marc.
Hope it makes sense.

I hope this will help some of our members who want to research older threads.
- click on the User CP tab on the orange bar
- scroll down the left side to find "Settings & Options"
- Select "Edit Options"
- Then scroll down to you get to "Thread Display Options"
- Count down 4 and select Default Thread Age Cut Off
- Then select "Show ALL Threads"
- Then you are done!
I hope this helps you.
