How or CAN you attach Powerpoint Presentations?
I have a few really wonderful Powerpoint presentations that I believe almost everyone on the Forum would enjoy. They all seem to be around 5MB in size, however, and are .pps files. Is there a way to add these to a message - or is the size and format of them prohibitive?

Rambler, our forum's software doesn't support the upload/attachement of .pps files (MS PowerPoint Slide Shows), .ppt, or .pptx files. Most, if not all, photo/video hosting sites (Flikr, WebShots, SnapFish, etc.) don't either which won't help you.
One option is to convert your .pps files into .pdf (Portable Document Format) files, however you'll need to have software like Adobe Acrobat 9.x Pro (not the simple Adobe reader that can be downloaded for free). PDFs are a supported file type here on our site (see attachment below for all supported file types). I've got Adobe Pro on my machine and would be happy to convert your .pps files to pdf if you'd like. If so, just send me a PM and we can exchange email addresses.
I've attached a PowerPoint presentation that I converted to PDF below so you can what one looks like. There's one limitation to a conversion of this sort, any music or animation contained in a PowerPoint Presentation or Slide Show is not carried over into a PDF.
Some of our more computer savvy members may have solutions better than what I'm offering up here.
