I can not set up new user profile

I get the following message when I go to "edit profile"

geazer, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

How long do you wait for activation? I am on vette forum and came here to see about buying a SSR also but not able to fill out profile or PM anyone.

We believe it's a post count thing. Make 5 posts and you should be able to do those things.
