Smile member products

I was at the Laughlin run and there were several members who were selling products. I was told I could find them on the website but I don't know how. Is there a place for members who are selling products? Is there a way to find a member if I only have their name not their user name? Is there a section on the fanatic website that allows for selling items or does everyone have to go to ebay?

You need to post what you are looking for .
They will , or someone else will help you find them.

what are you looking for? I know most everyone that was there and could point you in the right direction.

How was your drive home?

Thanks for help. We were looking for the chrome accessories that we saw specifically the head restraint/roll bar that Doug Allen had as well as the nose hood chevrolet and the bar on the front in chrome. How do I get in touch with Doug Allen?

The trip home was very slow as we took 101 all along the coast to WA to avoid the mountain snow. Didn't want to have to try to put those spider chains on the SSR again.

I'm thinking you want to talk with me about getting the seat hoops chrome plated and the bowtie. I can get most of the plastic SSR parts done locally with real plating not vacuum metalizing (which doesn't hold up too well).

Art's the right one to talk to about the seat hoops and bowtie. I believe that I owe Art a bowtie to have chromed for me..... right Art????

You must have caught Doug Allen and I doing some horse-trading for a pair of factory chromed seat hoops. It was a spare set that Doug had purchased and he wanted a couple things that I had. Good deal for both of us.

Regards,

Mike

if you want to chrome your existing parts, there's a place up here in Mission. They have a WA mailing address if you can't drive up. I can't seem to locate their name info, but if you pm SonnyB he'll be able to tell you their webpage and other info. I'm not sure of their chroming proceedure, as it sounds important to know by what Art just stated.

Here is a link to a list of most of the members that are selling products. The list includes the SSR Fanatic Forum name so you can PM them. In many cases a phone number and link to the specific post is included:

That was me you talked to. I have two grille spears and a set of Kaminari lower grille bars being chromed at Custom Coatings in Florida. Should be done in a few weeks. As far as the bowties or hood emblems, contact Art (hdflstf) .

I'd suggest contacting BYERS or RSSRTOY to see if you can get OEM chromed seat hoops and steering wheels, they are being manufactured again.
