I had a post removed from general and put in off topics. I would like to know why. It was about my truck and giving up something for it. I see plenty other topics in general that made me think it was ok there but apparently not...but off topic? How is this one below different but stays? Thanks.

You need to PM
Marc NY
if he isn't around the only other two are
dascrow and BUFFY.
These are the only people who could have moved your post.
Mornin' Wow.... I was gonna PM but not that important to me so I posted here just to get a simple explanation. As you can see, they must too busy to reply. I know it's a business with the numbers game important; but as a newly paying customer; I am to judge on customer service. I know it's petty but I did find it lacked courtesy to a new customer.

Hope Bernanke says the right things today!
Well....Marc NY is the only one who is on here a lot and he is not on 7 days a week. Seeing that we are averaging 350 posts a day, if he is not logged on for 3 days, there would be over 1000 new posts for him to read....so you see he can't possible read every post.
Now as to why your thread was moved, I would guess it was because of the title. From the title I would guess that your post was NOT related to SSRs specifically.
I believe that at the time Marc had not been on the forum in more than 4 days and he was moving a couple of threads into the Off Topic forum and yours was caught up in that sweep.
And just in case you were wondering, it is against the forum rules to question/blame/belittle/etc. (not saying you did this) the moderators in a post. All questions concerning moderators actions should be sent in a PM to the moderators.....
Let me know if you have any other questions..

I am not sure which thread you may be referring to but if you PM me I will be glad to review what you are talking about with you.
FYI: When a thread is created and if the that new thread topic doesn't directly relate to that Forum's Main Topic then that thread should be reviewed and then moved to the more "appropriate" forum. We have found out that by having separate forums helps out our members who might be looking for specific topics to address their needs. I.E. technical questions should be placed into the "Technical Forum" as Performance topics should go into the "Performance Forum". And for that matter all your other favorite topics like Corvettes, golf, carts, hunting, fishing, jokes and happy birthdays etc etc fall into what we call the "Off Topic" forum.
NOTE: I am usually on every day throughout most of the day and evenings too while being on through out much of the weekends as well. I am rarely gone for more than a couple of days. The last couple of times I was out of town on business was back early this month in Detroit for 3 days and then I was in NYC just last week. If I am not around PM Buffy or dascrow for additional help.
As John, "WOW_FCTR" has stated above; unfortunately I can't read and reread each and every thread a 100% of the time. Thus I rely on a lot of our great members to PM me and help me out when there are problems and or controversial issues that happen on our site.
