That's been discussed on a few other threads. 4760 lbs is the number I know.

C.C. RIDER !
Forward your VIN to UMPIRE13 (NO, I am not his agent) and you'll receive the "Build Sheet" for your SSR which includes the weight plus lots more.

and, Richard (aka: UMPIRE13) . . . no referral fee necessary.

Curt

SSR gross weight

I called GM to get the date my SSR was made. I also got the gross weight, & for my 2004 stock SSR, it is, 6057 lbs. It sure seems like alot but GM is the one that gave me the weight. If you would like to call for yourself, the # is 1-866-790-5700.The guy I talked to was [ Brad Perry ]. HE can find what ever you need.

That is gross weight, which is the maximum allowed weight of the SSR after driver, passenger, fuel, fluids, and cargo have been added.

4670 is the average weight of the SSR on scales, for DMV tax/registration of commercial vehicle.

Commercial registration can be waived by claiming a "trunk lid" as opposed to an open box bed.

And, yes, it still is a heavy truck. Very solid, too.

Weight Fees in Calif.

For any that live in Calif. and are disabled with disabled person plates (not placard) Ca DMV will waive weight fees on one commercial vehicle. Found this out when we registered the U.V. If anyone needs information PM me. I used to do
DMV work for dealerships in Calif.
