Screen View Options

Over the years I’ve always had a full screen view when using the New Post key. However, when using the Active Topics key, I get about ¾ view with stuff on the left side that I care less about. (See attach pic)

Are their any users’ options that I can turn on or off in order to see a full screen when using the Active Topics?
