Searching for three letter words.

I wanted to search for mesages that contained the words window and top. Yet top is unacceptable.

Is there any way around the four letter minimum?

I wanted to find messages that dealt with the realignment of windows and tops.

did you do an advanced search? That seemed to come up with something different. top is to ordinary for the word search.

Speaking of window adjustments...... I just got mine done. We should take this to general or technical if we are going to discuss it.

Yes, we have two choices. First, I can change the setting on search to include three letter words. It does have perfromance implications but they may not be too bad on a site of this size. Second, I can choose to include any specific words less than four letters. I could add "top" or any others.

I think that the best bet here is to change it to include three letter words. I'll get that done and do a re-index. Should take care of it.

The re-index is done. I'll leave it at three words for now. Hopefully the search index won't grow too large over time.
