The bwshare module will refuse your requests for the next 1349 seconds.
You have made too many requests per second.

Gina and I had problems all day with entering the forum.

The above message is what we were receiving.....almost as if I we were spyware It took me 2840 seconds to try and post or reply. So I simply gave up.

When I came home it was doing this on my home computer also. Looks like everything is ok for now.........who knows

Besides the problem as Debbie outline, I can't get to MSNBC.com for the news. Can anybody get to it?
I'll be home in another 2 hours so I hope it works on my home PC.

Me too, but now it appears to havve stopped, and I can access the forum. "bwshare module" is a program to monitor an slow down bandwidth. However it is usually used when someone is downloading large files. I wonder if someone is using the site for something more than chat?

I haven't seen any error messages, but I have noticed that the site has been slow for about the last week. Especially the PM"S.

bwshare module

Wasn't sure what a bwshare module was.....searching the WWW I found this

Guess a few of us are greedy clients

If you're running a popular website you'll most likely notice that some clients are less well-behaved than others. Greedy clients can do anything from make numerous requests, to attempting to spider your entire site. One simple way of preventing these clients from slowing down your server is with the mod_bwshare module for Apache2
