Site Failure or UpGrades? That is the question as the sites been down for most of the afternoon

I thought maybe I got banned from work

until I e-mailed X and he was having trouble to

No problem here, however, it seem strange that only 4 members and 19 guess are log in here.

I was getting errors that it couldn't find the server started around 3:00 and continued until 5:40 P.M.

You had no problems ???

You had no problems ???

I was here around 12ish then just got back here 10 minutes ago. Even at 12, I recall just 7 or 8 members were online which seem very low. I thought the world was coming to an end, starting with the east coast.

Just got this email...

We apologize for the downtime. We switched over to a new DNS server which had incorrect DNS records.

We are addressing this problem now. We'll keep you posted.

I've had my PC on since early this AM and I bet if I log off completely, I may not be able to get back on to this site again until the problem(s) been resolved.

DON"T log off Jeff. I did and it shut down again at 4:21 and came back on at 4:26

I knew the system was down for quite a while, but I didn't have it dialed in to the nearest second.

I've been trying all day and no luck...then just 10 minutes ago I clicked on the ssrfanatic site and up pops a riceburner site? oh terror! just started to call WOW_FCTR or MarcNY and clicked again and thank god i'm here.....

Actually it was like 11 hours. I never logged off but did today. You guys will just have to put up with me lurking. I never shut my computer down unless it crashes.
