I just received an email telling me I was set up for reoccurring payments for a vendor. It said to go to pal pay to stop it. I don't see anything pending. Can the administrator of this site please cancel my membership. Please do not take any money out of my account.
Thank You
keith
krowe you won't see anything pending in your Paypal account summary, you need to cancel the subscription manually before Paypal makes the transfer, and Paypal hides how it is done fairly well. Here is how to do it (instructions from the Paypal website):
--------------------------------------
How do I cancel a subscription?
--------------------------------------
Canceling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription. A subscription can be canceled up to the day of the next scheduled payment.
Log in to your PayPal account.
Click the My Account tab.
Click the History subtab.
Click More filters, select Subscriptions and agreements, and then click Subscriptions.
Change the date back to the year the subscription was created, and then click Show.
Click Details next to the subscription.
Click Cancel Subscription.

whatfor90 as far as I know there is no way to pay for the one year without the subscription being automatically added. But it is super simple to cancel the subscription right after the transfer is made. Just log into Paypal.com after making the payment (joining for a year), the new subscription will appear in your account summary, and you can cancel it directly from the subscription detail page (result: you will have paid for the one year and won't be billed again).
I would purchase a 1 year membership but I have always hated Automatic Reoccurring Payments. It should be an option when the membership is purchased.

Or........you could buy a Lifetime Membership @ $100, and live to be 110. Just think how much you could save.
