Tracking Cookies

Why the Tracking cookies Dascrow? Brand new laptop, visited this site 1st to test the theory that it was my pc that had issues. Well it's not and I picked up a tracking cookie off this site. All the same "new system" issues remain.

with the new site format to begin with but they have strightened out. Have had no issues with popups ever. Must be selective targeting?

As long as I am logged on, I'm not getting cookies. I tried logging off and accessing the site as a visitor. I got the cookies you are talking about. I suspect if you haven't turned off the ads, you will get the cookies.

Most websites you access leave cookies. How do you know they are tracking cookies? I ran my virus and spyware scan and the program didn't pick them up.

My wife has trouble tracking cookies as well. I steal a few at a time when she's not watching - especially those winter oreos with the icing on the outside.

hijacking

Even though some members may enjoy having some fun with our member's thread topics please do not side track or hijack a members thread(s) especially when they are having problems and or issues and are trying to get answers to their questions and concerns.

Thank you.

Now back to the topic ...

I can't even get topics in the right forums. still signed off repeatedly, editing my own posts is a nightmare of blank white pages, signed off's, not a registered user BS, etc... Marc, Thanks for putting this one in it's proper forum. John, thanks for the offer, but I really feel the problem's are on this site's side.

I have 2 pc's and a brand new laptop and it's happening on all 3 so I know it's not my usual 1 that I use.

Yes I can do that however, I don't know if that will change anything. I still don't know why he is still having those problems. ???

Once in awhile I have noticed the site seems to be slow... where a web page takes a little extra time to reload or load. The banner does show up but a white page can stay blank for awhile until all the information is loaded.

That's what I see when I view the site in IE.
As I mentioned in my own post, it's different in FF where the left side bars temporarily cover the full width.

Certainly sounds like you have a frustrating problem. Wish I could offer a solution. RRR suggestion sound's like it is worth trying. It seemed to work for LTs SSR.
