Troy-please outline how to post pics IN a thread

Pardon my difficulty but the new version of the software and I aren't hithcing up realtive to posting pics in a thread.

I follow the logical steps and the pic or link is nowhere to be found in my post.

I don't know what I did to make it work the other day with the SSR + C6 photo (I think I had to post to the gallery first?) but nothing is working right now.

I checked the FAQ page as I am being allowed to log in to the gallery page time and again using my valid user name and password...???

All I want to do is include a link to .jpg files in many of my posts.... used to be easy to do.

Thanks in advance for any help and clarification you can provide me.

Is there some sort of "time delay" for the image to post?
