Where to go...

The forum is a huge place with many places to go. Is there a place here where we can find "recommended" (by members) garages, paint & body shops, etc. in the larger areas of the country?

Something like this might be helpful to newer members not that familiar with what places can help us with our unique rides AND who to stay away from. If there isn't where might we ask about a certain garage or body & paint shop?

Cool

Snsitiv, Appreciate the list but these are VENDORS.....I was thinking more of SERVICE-oriented places of business like garages and paint & body shops and their kind of labor-services; not necessarily parts.

They would be places the members have had good experiences with & could recommend other members go there, too.

For example I'm looking for a "paint guy" to custom paint my engine-cover & fusebox cover. I live in Houston & not sure who to turn to do the work. I'm sure there are several in Houston but I'm not familiar with any as I've never had a vehicle like my R. I'm needing the guidance of someone here who has that experience.

opps.... I knew that. I've talked to a couple about the engine cover near here, but not ready to do it just yet. Whomever gets it taken care of first, must then tell the other about his experience. Deal?

Thumbs up

Thank you BlueStreak, this is a great help for those of us R owners who are just getting 'on board'.

Your help is MUCH appreciated.

I don't know about Houston, but there are several members in the Dallas area that have had custom paint work done. Send a PM to Focks or Wildcat66 for the Dallas area.

Also may want to PM/talk with Bigmax2004 as he just had his R repaired last fall. Additionally if I recall correctly Greg Ducato had a Challenger restored or repainted out in Rosenburg.

For great jobs and ideas I ( but then it's justworried thinking and you all know how much that hurts ) I would deal with Lonnie in Florida or Fuzzy in Michigan shipping wouldn't be all that and what a surprise when you open the package
