Signature #4 – Pedigree Theme: “Chevy Racing SSR – Indy 500 Pace Vehicle”

Select Chevy-affiliated race drivers, team owners and race sanctioning body officials representing NASCAR, the Indy Racing League (IRL) and the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) were the first to take a SSR for a brisk lap driving around some of America's great race tracks. This vehicle made a variety of public appearances at auto racing events, including driver autograph sessions and in pre-race parades. Reportedly scrapbook items may include driving gloves, autographed race programs and photographs taken during these special events.

VIN #4 also served as the back-up Pace Vehicle for the 2003 Indianapolis 500 on May 25, 2003.
