i did it , i bought nittos, 255/315

Hi

yesterday i ordered my new nitto set 255-40-19 and 315-35-20 , dealer Firestone auto care 1290 $ incl. alignment.
i know they are a little bit cheaper with online order, but i like it more when everything is in one hand.
they will be mounted on tuesday.

does anyone of you with these tires have recommendations for the tire pressure.
i thought a good thing will be 30 psi front and 29 psi rear,
my firestones had a little bit more wear on the rears in the center with 30 psi
and i think it will be better to lower the pressure a bit. ( my fronts are dead, the very known problem)
i had good experience with this in germany ( mercedes SL, Porsche 911 , Corvette C6 )
what do you think???

thanks
Ralph

I believe I was the first to report on using the Nitto Invo on the SSR. So while I might not be a tire expert I think I have driven the most miles on them. Having gone through 2 sets of them.

I recommend 35 psi front and rear with normal driving. I drive agressive and run 40 psi front and 35 psi rear with good wear patterns. My orginal thread has pictures of tire wear.Alternative SSR tires

I think you (as a non-supporting Member) have to use a third party photo hosting service. There are several free sites available. I am sure someone will jump in and help you.

Nittos' are neato

I love mine. They really bite good on wet roads as well.I was concerned at first but I'm very pleased with the ride and grip.I'm running 35 psi F&R.
