I am on the hunt for a pair of SS 327 emblems to add to my R. I have found the Impala ones, but they only have the 327 with the flags. From deep in the recesses of my jaded youth, I imagine having seen something like that with the SS on it as well.
My SSR: Blue Voodoo, 2006 Pacific Blue 3SS Auto, Born 8/26/2005 (first day of PB), adopted 11/16/12
Owned a '68 Camaro for many, many years. The front fenders had white/chrome 327 badges (raised, maybe 1/4" thick) just behind the headlights. Mine was a COPO with a special 327/375hp, so the only SS label was on the gas cap. I doubt you could find these now, but who knows. At least there's some info for a search.
Thanks for the input. I found the emblems you spoke of, as well as the 427 Turbo-fire ones. Maybe is was the Nova that had SS 327 badges, but haven't found them yet. Maybe someone can make some up, even in decal form.

Duh... I should have thougt of this; AXWare Systems :: Graphics I've purchased from this guy before (I also race with him most weekends) and was very pleased with his products. Primarily he supplies timing equipment, but his graphics business is first-rate. He can create anything you want, and at a reasonable price. Let him know Robby Helms (CRX Si, #47 sts) sent you. Probably won't lower the price, but he might take it easy on me at the next race.

Can anyone help?
Cross-posted from parts wanted section.
If you are wanting them for a 03-04 R with the 5.3 in it, the 5.3 actually is a 325 cid engine not a 327 cid.

I could make a plastic 3D one, just need a rendering..
I bought mine from an original parts site for Chevrolet, forgot which one. I put the 65 fender flags on the lower area behind the front tires. I thought the 327 emblems were a little too much so used them on the engine cover. Didn't want to drill 4 more holes in the fenders and not like it! The actual emblems use 2 posts each and attach on the back with speed screws.
Yeah, and the whole "exact cubic inch thing" is always off a little anyways, 327 works

I know what you mean about being off, as the orginal 350 was actually a 348.
I thought the 5.3 was a 327 to start with, but working in auto repair you find out many things they did that wasn't quite right.
