installation of Rear Wind Supressor

When I purchased my SSR in the bed there was a box containing a SSR rear wind supressor. Does anybody have the installation instructions or a tutorial for installation ..

Thanks

You don't need instructions, it's pretty straight forward. The Windbreak has two slots, slide them down over the loosened bolts in the seat bumpers, and if it's screwed up, turn that sumbitch around.

What year is your truck? If you have an 03 or 04, it is not quite so simple to install. I think Mike AZ has a template to modify your seat backstops. If you have an 05 or 06 it is as simple as Bruce states.

OEM factory SSR windscreen installation instructions.......

The 03 and early 04 don't have a small cutout area on the plastic bumpers for the screen installation, they are easily modified with a file or a dremel. Just mark where the legs of the windscreen meet the plastic bumper and remove that area the same depth as the metal mount to allow it to fit properly.

So along these same lines, I assume that the windscreen can remain installed while the top is up and while opening and closing. Correct? I'm always afraid to assume because, well, you know.

Also, I have a "bra package" I guess is the term.. I understand the two for the mirrors and the one for the nose, is the 4th for the screen?

Thanks guys!

Yes EricB, the windscreen stays in place with the top up or down.
