My name is Hosam and i am SSR Fanatic fan.I joined this forum because i bought one year ago SSR 2005 yellow with 34000 KM on clock.
Tell you the truth i do not know why i fall in love with this car.I love sport cars.Especially Ferrari cars and particularly Ferrari Testarossa's.
When i saw the SSR it captured my heart.Maybe because it is a combination of sporty look, pick up and convertible. It is a three cars molded together and the outcome is SSR.I feel good to drive this car.It is like you have a date with beautiful lady.
Also, i noticed that this car can accept many modification to the exterior and still look good.It is like having Harley Davidson and as much you put accessories still look good.
So i decided to do some modifications to the exterior and the mechanical parts.
First, i like to thank Mike AZ, MPD Eric, ZZR George and Gary for stainless steel parts and Jeff who has the SSR with exhaust pipes kit installed from ZZR.For the parts you provide and information.
I started to order some parts and i started with the front of the SSR.I installed the front spoiler and i like it.Also, i installed the stainless steel plates with chevy logo.
From the car side.I installed the doors handles stainless steel cover plate.I also covered the fuel tank cover with stainless steel.I also covered the brake calipers with yellow cover.

The beauty of the SSR is that it can be individualized. I bought mine based on the opportunities to modify it and that Mike in AZ lives 20 minues away. Loving my truck!
Hosam...very nice combination of mods! You should look very sharp driving your SSR anywhere.

Welcome Hosam, great looking ride. I also have an '05 yellow. One thing I might recommend for your consideration as I'm sure it must get pretty hot over there. Your front license plate is mounted very high plus it is a large size plate. There were a couple threads on this board that dealt with engine cooling issues because dealers mounted the plates too high and messup up air flow. It should at least be on the lowest two bars. Just a thought.
838Stingray, i was reading the threads and i saw your SSR in many occusions.I love the color of the SSR strips you have.So finally i got it.Ford vapor Metalic.Okay then next step to paint the black strip i have to silver.I like your SSR.It is neat.
Hatfield, you are right.I will relocate front license plate to the lower side. Thanks for your advice.
Hosam,
We have an 05 Aqua Blur with 6 speed.
Your car looks great; is it an auto or six speed??
What are you other cars since I am a Lotus, Ferrari, Maserati and Prowler fan among many others.

I have stickers "for your other car." Check out SSR Decals for your other vehicles and let me know if you would like one for each of your Ferrari. I would love to see that picture.

Hello Hosam,
Welcome to the Fanatic Family...
You might not be close on the map,.. but your just as much a Fanatic as the rest of us.
We all love our trucks.
Its important to know,.. You dont need to bring your SSR to a gathering. If you happen to be in America and see an event, Im sure I speak for all,.. your welcome to visit with your rental car too.
Next year we are celebrating 10 years of SSRs at the National Rally in Sturbridge Mass. You are certainly welcome to join us with or without your SSR. It will be a great opertunity to see New England USA but most of all,.. you will meet hundreds of your Fanatic Family members.
