Lonnie I am hoping you can give me a quote to install my LS7 clutch. I have more work that needs to be done to install a rear main seal and the engine cover gasket while the clutch is removed. 2005 SSR.

Hey buddy - the LS7 Clutch upgrade is $2000, labor and material, installed. The rear main seal is right there, cost would be minimal. Not sure what you mean by engine cover gasket - valve cover gasket? Give me a call or text if you have any questions, I don't check in here as often as I should. 813-625-4457.

    Lonnie,

Way off topic here. I have a 71 c10 that I’m building. This project has been going on for years. In 2003ish I purchased a new set of SSR taillights from my local dealer planning to install them in my rear step fenders. I’m looking for ideas on how to do this. My thought is to build a bucket since the angle of the fender on the truck is more than the angle of the taillight. Maybe I should sell them since it looks like they are really expensive now? Anyway, I thought you might have some thoughts on how I should approach this fabrication. Thank you

Hi Lonnie. My name is Jim Kenney and I live in Tecumseh Ontario (across the river from Detroit). I have an 05 6 speed and Dicktater suggested I contact you about clutch replacement. I had my truck out yesterday and noted slippage in 1st gear when I stood on it. It hasn't had any issues prior to this . The truck also hadn't been out since before Christmas.
I know I can't trust it to drive to you but you could perhaps give me some guidance or recommendations.
I know you must be busy and I don't want to take up to much of your time.
Even if I could source parts from you and you could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. My E Mail address is jkenney9@cogeco.ca
Is there a convenient time I could call you?
    Thanks Jim

Hey Lonnie Ron here in Oldsmar FL down the street from Dicktator, I ran across the French lights you did and I love the look, I have the Silver 05 any chance you are still doing these?

    Thanks

    Hey Lonnie,
Would you have a 3rd brake light that you would sell?
Can't figure out why GM wouldn't use the C5 light (like they did with the side mirrors and back-up light bezel) so they would be easy to find.
    Thanks.

Hi Lonnie, I am recovering pretty well from my stroke, getting back I to the SSR realm. I am buying an 03 that has a lot of stone chips and needs a repaint. I would like to paint it like the link, it is black now. Could you do this? What would it run approximately, won't hold you to,it. Thanks! John

Can you send me some pictures of how your running boards look tucked in? Just having mine painted and would like that look I think. Thanks

Hi Lonnie...I have a window problem on the passenger side. It won't drop when you open the door. I've tried programming the windows, pulling the fuse, disconected the battery. I did get it to work for a short period of time, however, I can't get it to operate again. I took it to a dealership they said it is a bad sensor in the latch ($400 repair). They explained the sensor is saying the door is locked when it isn't. Does this sound correct to you? Some folks on the forum have said maybe it is the ignition switch. Would the ingnition switch create a problem with both windows or only one? It is on the passenger side on my truck. I live in Port Charlotte, FL and bought my 2005 SSR only a few months ago...so I am new to this. I would really appreciate your advise. Thanks! Tiz

Hi Lonnie, I've been thinking about a set of running board brackets for my 2004 SSR. Can you tell me how it works, do I have to send my brackets to you and if so, how long does it take? and how much do they cost? thanks, Mike

The running board treads arrived on Friday as you had previously suggested. The treads are perfect! I cannot think you enough for the items. I will try and return the favor to another Fanatic. Best to you and yours! Ronald

I would test fit and move all the OEM brackets over prior to painting them, but once you have the fit you can paint them off the truck and reinstall them easily. Call me if you have any questions, but once you see them you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Have a great weekend!
