Sorry you had problems. We are new to the forum and made a quick trip down to the keys. My wife seen your car and liked the flowers. Did not look at your plate to see it was from CA. Wow that was some drive!

We lived in Northern CA for 10 years and now reside in Ft Laurderdale area.

Hope you get all this little problems resolved.

PS: We met alot of very nice people during the keys getogether.

    Aloha Vix!

Great to hear from you! We're doing well here in paradise! I'm still working on basically re-building AKWARES, but we'll get it back to it's former glory eventually. It's still a head turner, most people don't see all the flaws and unfinished work I see on it.

Actually there is some discussion about the Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals on the Fanatics site. I don't know too much about them myself, though. I would check out the site again.

I'm curious, did you find that the inside edges of the front tires were worn? That's what happened to my original factory front tires. I had a shop change the front end alignment. The factory spec alignment for the SSR is no good, and if you have the front end aligned to factory specs, you will get uneven wear on the inside front tires. Hard to notice until you get a blowout. When you get the new tires, have the shop make the correction to the alignment.

Have a great trip, and keep in touch!

    Mahalo for the note!

    ALOHA!!
