    Hey there -
    New member here - 'bucketlist'

Unless there's another reason for the inside door handle NOT to open the doors, I need two of your kits to correct the situation and prepare for the next one. Oddly, my 2005 has experienced a failure on the PASSENGER side - during my last test drive w/ the dealer.

So what's the procedure, email and invoice, or all thru Pay Pal ?

    My email address is

Looking forward to hearing from you and THANKS already for the many as yet undiscovered pearls of wisdom you provide to the group. I have lots to learn but it's almost as cool as wrenching on Harleys for 4 years. Took a sabbatical from Oil and Gas Accounting but went back when I needed $$ again. :)

BTW - have you compiled an index of your 'fix list' anywhere or should I just search "Dicktator" and see what comes up?

    A couple things

    1. I need a name tag...Maggie Valley was a constant "Who are you and where you from?"

    So I'm J04SILVER
    I'm Phil

    2. The windshield wiper saga
Had an opportunity to check out several R's while at Maggie. The 05's there have the same wipers as the 04. the change was made sometime in late 05. Wild Bill's listing for wiper arms for an 06 indicate in the detail text the 06 arm is compatible to all the earlier years. Cleveland Power and Performance is looking for a pair of 06 arms for me now. One of the R folks from Jersey put me on that site. I think it makes more sense than the 04 arm. That's just asking for the same problem again. So, if you have a pair complete arms from an '06 I'd be happy to buy them from you.
Just give me a price and I'll get a check in the mail for both the name tag and the arms if you have them.

Dicktator, we want one of the dashmats with yellow R and SSR decal. Still learning the site. Left a message after your post about the mats. Thanks, Sillypuddy

Hope your surgery recovery is going well!

I need an ignition switch for my 04 SSR. It has not gone out but I need to change it before it does.
If you can send me a PayPal invoice I can pay you through them or I can send you a check like I did with the shifter fix kit. That is up to you.

Hi Dick - I've seen your many posts and the help you've provided to SSR owners over the years. We really need an advocate like you.

I've had my '04 since May of 2012 and had very few problems. Lately my speedo & gas gauge went haywire (fixed by Chevy) and now I'm having hydraulic roof issues. When lowering the roof I get a timeout, followed by "ILHI HALL SWITCH FAULT". My dealer indicated right hydraulic cylinder and hose (both no longer available). Reading through the Tech Issues thread I see the reference to retrofitting cylinders from the outfit in Oregon. I am now retired and I plan to sell my beauty but do not think it's economical to replace one or two cylinders if others are going to fail after that.

Based in Fort Myers and willing to travel to Clearwater if I can get a fix. Any ideas?
