Description: The Texas Group got together for a cruise from Houston to Galveston, to the Polivar Penninsula, to Winnie, Texas for their Trade Days weekend, and we got rained on all the way until we went north to Winnie. Some of the Kool Plates on the R's.

Description: It's all fixed now, but my grandaughter was devasted when she ran into the back of a car trailer. First hand-built by my dad in 1952 for me and my two brothers. Made out of old car body parts from a '48 Chevy, '48 Buick, '39 Buick, '40 La Salle, '48 Olds.

Description: Minus the body, the hand-built kart my dad built in 1952 with a Clinton motor and Wheel barrow rear tires and wheels, with a '48 Chevy emergency brake handle controlling the friction clutch and brake. A hand-built front pivoting suspension with '48 Chevy valve springs for shock absorption.

Description: My dad hand-built "The Racer" in 1952 out of car body parts; fender extensions from a 1948 Olds, fender extensions from a 1948 Chevy, a hood and hood ornament from a 1948 Buick, a grille from a 1940 La Salle, and a headlight bucket from a 1939 Pontiac, a Clinton motor from a Maytag washing machine, homemade brake and clutch, etc.... would go about 30 miles an hour.

Description: My stable includes my first car, a 1/4 midget style go-kart my dad hand-built me when I was 3 years old, made of car body parts from a 1948 Olds, a 1948 Buick, and 1948 Chevy, and a 1939 Pontiac, and a Clinton motor from a Maytag washing machine. The mild custom is, ironically, a 1948 Olds 2-dr sedan, and my latest addition, a 2005 SSR, Woo-Hoo!
