Close, Dale....I used to be a huge VW fan, and 25 or so years ago Fahrvergnugen was the 'in' thing. At the time I owned a Passat and Cabriolet, so the Cab had the plate FARF2, which later became my email, and has stuck for a whole lot of years
Hey Craig - not sure if this is the spot I should spill a tad of my life story, but not enough people visit this thread anyway.
I had a fanatic ask me about my username just a few days ago
Trust me (another story) it is not because of accumulated wealth - I managed to mess that up
I was a realtor, for 35 years here in Canada - Lower Mainland BC, and we had one of those boom/bust years in 1981.
I sold 10 properties in 11 days all containing the clause "Cash for Clear Title" as at the time you had to have the money in your jeans pocket.
A friend of mine, sort of a step father but I was 29 years old so not really, but I considered him as such - he nicknamed me "Cash" Courville and gave me a gold bracelet signifying such.
I miss Fred and think of him often, died as a result of rheumatoid arthritis 1n 1990.
My Mom and I were diehard Vette people, and we used to go on Corvette runs together - not many can say they did that with their Mom
She named us, Silly, Dilly and Sparkles - Fred was Silly, my wife was Sparkles for her beautiful teeth, and I was Dilly Dally, her nickname for me as a kid, and you can sort that out for yourself - HaHa!
I think when we all go to register on site we struggle for a handle, and Cash was the first thing that came to mind - Far2 late to change it now!
Oh and adding this about Line 3 comment - I used to say - "Trust me, I'm a realtor!" HaHa!
When call display first came about and I could see who was calling I had this great friend/client - and I would answer - "Cash Courville - Famous Realtor" I could more or less hear him hit the floor!
The Trust Me part came when I played fastball - I had this gorgeous 81 Benz 380 SL at the time (red of course) and sitting in the stands between games at a tournament 2 really cute little girls came up to chat me up.
I like to think it was because I was so damn good looking.....but it might have been the car.
When asked I told them I was a gynecologist (get my gun). That is when the guys on the team put a sticker on my equipment bag - "Trust me I'm a Doctor"!
